What does your syllabus communicate to your students? How can you structure it to best represent what your students will need to do in order to demonstrate their learning?

Visit the DePaul Teaching Commons’ upcoming Faculty Syllabus Clinic to get answers for these questions and to discover other ways to enhance your syllabus.

Representatives from the University Center for Writing-based Learning, the Library, Faculty Instructional Technology Resources, and the Office for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment will be on hand to assist you in:

  • Outlining your syllabus
  • Drafting learning outcomes
  • Aligning assessments with learning outcomes and activities
  • Developing statements on policies and resources
  • Using appropriate instructional technology
